Open or closed sounds

    The eight pure vowels (ㅗ ㅏ ㅜ ㅓ ㅛ ㅑ ㅠ ㅕ) (o a u eo yo
ya yu yeo) are classified into closed sounds (produced by
rounding the lips) and open sounds (produced by spreading
the lips). These sounds are created through the combination
of the root vowels ㆍㅡ ㅣ, which symbolize Heaven Earth
    and Human.

Heaven and Earth coming together, fulfilled by Human
ㅗ (o) makes a sound similar to ㆍ but is pronounced with
    the lips rounded.
Its shape is formed by combining ㆍ Heaven and ㅡ Earth,
symbolizing the first meeting of Heaven and Earth. It
represents the image of the sun rising above the horizon,
    reflecting the beginning of creation.
ㅏ (a) makes a sound similar to ㆍ but is pronounced with
the lips spread open. Its shape is formed by combining l
Human and ㆍ Heaven, symbolizing the meeting of Heaven,
    Earth, and Human.
It signifies that while Heaven and Earth create all things, it is
Human who gives them meaning and purpose. This reflects
the belief that Human beings are the ones who complete and
fulfill the world, bringing value and significance to all
