Medial as Heaven, initial as Earth
he medial sounds represent the principle of Heaven,
following the flow of BalkIEo, while the initial sounds
represent the principle of Earth, expressing strength and
softness.
Medial vowels are produced by varying the depth and
openness of the mouth. They can be deep or shallow,
depending on whether the lips are rounded or spread open.
This process symbolizes the division of BalkIEo, reflecting
the dynamic flow of Heaven. It represents the cosmic energy
that gives rise to all things.
Initial sounds are pronounced with different states of
resonance and movement. They can be hollow or solid,
rising or stagnant, heavy or light.
These variations reflect the characteristics of Earth, which
manifests the principles set by Heaven.
Throat sounds are hollow and open, resembling the flow of
Water. Molar sounds are solid and heavy, like Wood rooted
in the ground. Tongue sounds are light and swift, spreading
like Fire. Teeth sounds are firm and gripping, representing
the hardness of Metal. Lip sounds can be heavy or light,
showing the flexible nature of Earth.
