Initial and medial sounds, dynamics of Earth and
    Heaven


    When comparing initial consonants and medial vowels,
    medial vowels follow the principle of Heaven, flowing with
    the energy of light and darkness. Initial sounds reflect the
    principle of Earth, expressing strength and softness.
    Medial vowels vary in depth, being pronounced with either
    rounded or open mouths. This represents the division of
    darkness and light, forming the energy of Daum and is the
    work of Heaven.
    Initial consonants are either empty or full, rising or
    stagnating, and are pronounced heavily or lightly. They
    include empty throat sounds, cold molar sounds, flying
    tongue sounds, obstructed tooth sounds, and heavy or light
    lip sounds.
    Through these qualities, initial sounds express strength and
    softness, achieving harmony in Daum and can thus be seen
    as the work of Earth.
    Medial vowels, according to the principle of Eo-
    Balk(darkness and light), become deeper or shallower, with
    sound produced by rounding or opening the mouth.
