    When two characters combine to form a single medial
    sound, they follow natural principles of formation.
    ㅗ (o) and ㅏ (a) both originate from ㆍ, so when combined,
    they form ㅘ (oa)[wa].
    ㅛ (yo) and ㅑ (ya) both originate from ㅣ(i), so when
    combined, they form ㆇ (yoya)[joja].
    ㅜ (u) and ㅓ (eo) both originate from ㅡ(eu), so when
    combined, they form ㅝ (ueo)[wə].
    ㅠ (yu) and ㅕ (yeo) both originate from ㅣ, so when
    combined, they form ㆊ (yuyeo)[jujə].
    Since these sounds come from the same source and belong
    to the same group, their combination remains in perfect
    harmony without any discord.
