At last, King Sejong the Great instructed that detailed
explanations be added to help people easily understand the
new writing system. He wanted the knowledge to be
accessible to everyone, ensuring that even those without
formal education could learn on their own. In response to
this royal command, Jeong Inji humbly collaborated with:
Choi Hang, a scholar of the Jiphyeonjeon (Hall of
Worthies), Park Paengnyeon, Shin Suk-ju, and Seong
Sammun, who were also esteemed scholars and officials,
Kang Huian, a government official, Yi Gae and Yi Seonro,
    assistant scholars at the Jiphyeonjeon.

    Accessible by all people

Together, they compiled explanations and examples to
illustrate the usage of Hangul, presenting them in a clear
and concise manner. Their work aimed to make
Hunminjeongeum accessible and understandable to all
people, regardless of their educational background.
