King Sejong’s vision

    Although they provided simplified explanations, they
    acknowledged that the origin and profound meaning behind
    the creation of Hangul were too deep and mysterious for
    them to fully explain. This is because the principles behind
    the characters were extraordinarily intricate, reflecting
    natural laws and cosmic harmony. They humbly admitted
    that only King Sejong fully understood the true depth and
    wisdom of this writing system. Even the most learned
    scholars of the time could not fully comprehend the spiritual
    and philosophical insight that guided its creation.

    They reflected with deep reverence that King Sejong was a
    sage sent from Heaven, whose wisdom and achievements
    surpassed those of all other kings.
    His creation of Hangul did not merely follow the works of
    ancient scholars but was instead inspired by the natural
    order of the universe.
    Hangul was designed according to the principles of nature—
    the harmonious interactions of Heaven, Earth, and Human
    as well as the balance of Balk-I-Eo.
    This is why the characters are: easy to learn and intuitive to
    use, universal and adaptable, suitable for all forms of
