Explanation 1 · Principles of Creation

HANGUL, The Cosmic Philosophy · p.118 / 428
The medial vowels are created within the harmony of
Heaven Earth and Human, reflecting the cosmic principle of
Hattangsa or Hasattang(Samjae: the Three Principle).
Each sound embodies the laws of nature and the universe,
symbolizing the balance and interaction between Heaven,
    Earth, and Human.

Creation of vowels ㅛ ㅑ ㅠ ㅕ with Human role

The compound vowels ㅛ ㅑ ㅠ ㅕ (yo ya yu yeo) are
formed by adding ㅣ(Human) to the basic vowels ㅗ ㅏ ㅜ
    ㅓ(o a u eo).
This represents an advanced harmony, where the influence
of Human ㅣ(i) is added to the balance of Heaven ㆍ[ʌ] and
    Earth ㅡ(eu).
ㅛ (yo) starts from ㅣand transitions into ㅗ, symbolizing a
human influence on the rising sun.
ㅑ (ya) starts from ㅣ and transitions into ㅣ, representing
Human giving meaning and purpose to creation.
ㅠ (yu) starts from ㅣ and transitions into ㅜ (u), reflecting
          Human impacting the setting sun.
ㅕ starts from ㅣ and transitions into ㅓ, signifying Human
connecting and completing the cycle of creation.
