The clarity of sound
In speech sounds,
there are inherently clear sounds
and murky sounds,
so it is important
to carefully observe
how the initial sounds are pronounced from the beginning.
The purest clear sounds,
plain sounds,
include ㄱ ㄷ ㅂ (G D B)
and ㅈ ㅅ ㆆ (J S [ʔ]).
As for ㅋ ㅌ ㅍ ㅊ ㅎ (K T P Ch H),
they are derived by adding an extra stroke
to the five base sounds ㄱ ㄷ ㅂ ㅅ ㅇ(G D B S ◌),
making them the next degree of clear sounds,
also known as aspirated sounds.
The murkiest sounds,
also known as tense sounds,
include ㄲ ㄸ ㅃ (KK TT PP)
along with ㅉ ㅆ ㆅ (JJ SS [x]).
