    sequence is represented as ㅇㅁㅅ (Hattangsa), but the
    phenomena we observe are expressed as ㅇㅅㅁ (Hasattang).
    Therefore, Hasattang is used as the main reference.


    Wonsene or Wonnese (원세네, 원네세)

    The symbols representing Hasattang are the circle, the
    triangle, and the square (Won, Semo, Nemo 원/동그라미 세
    모 네모). Collectively, these are called Donsene. Wonnese
    and its phenomenal representation Wonsene are also used
    interchangeably.


    Jeomgase(seon) or Jeomsega(seon)(점가세(선), 점세가(선)

    The basic vowel letters ㆍㅡㅣ are derived from the symbols
    of Heaven, Earth, and Human represented respectively by a
    dot(Jeom 점), a horizontal line(가로선), and a vertical line(세
    로선). We can refer to this group collectively as Jeomgase(점
    가세) or Jeomgase(seon, meaning line) (점가세선).
    Alternatively, if the symbolic order is taken as Heaven–
    Human–Earth, the sequence becomes dot, vertical line,
    horizontal line, in which case it may be referred to as
    Jeomsega(점세가) or Jeomsegaseon(점세가선).
