Therefore, the pronunciation of dong is represented by the
    combination of deok + hong (덕홍). It is 동 in Hangul.
    The Fanqie method is linked to the principles of Yin and
    Yang in Chinese phonology. In contrast, Hangul is
    structured with Cheotgakkeut (첫가끝: initial, medial, and
    final sounds), reflecting the Balk-I-Eo philosophy of
    Hasattang(the Three Philosophy: Heaven, Human, Earth).


    5. Initial consonants for representing Chinese characters

    There are initial sounds present in the Eonhae version of
    Hunminjeongeum that are not included in the original
    Haeryebon. Although Jeongeum was designed to represent
    all sounds, the Eonhae version reflects the additional
    phonetic considerations of Chinese pronunciation, given the
    influence of Chinese culture during that era.
    The Eonhae version of Hunminjeongeum is a Korean
    interpretation of the original Haeryebon written by King
    Sejong. What is commonly referred to as Hunminjeongeum
    Eonhaebon is included in the preface of Worinseokbo.
    Unlike the Haeryebon, the Eonhae version contains
    additional initial sounds specifically to capture Chinese
    phonetics.
