A universal principle across languages
    All humans share the same vocal apparatus: mouth, tongue,
    throat, etc. The numbers 1, 2, and 3 are fundamental
    concepts, and it is likely that the easiest sounds to produce
    were naturally selected for these words. There may be a
    universal principle at work here.
    Since King Sejong designed Hangul according to the
    principles of nature, this shared phenomenon across
    languages may not be a coincidence but rather evidence of
    the same natural principles in action.


    Symbolism of 1, 2, and 3 in sound and shape
    1 is represented by throat sounds like ㅇ and ㅎ, symbolizing
    the sky with its circular form.
    2 is represented by tongue sounds like ㄴ, ㄷ, ㅌ, ㄹ,
    symbolizing the Earth with its square-like form.
    3 is represented by teeth sounds like ㅅ, resembling a
    standing human and taking the form of a triangle.
    This is one of the mysteries that suggest Hunminjeongeum
    was created based on universal principles of nature, shared
    by all of humanity.
