HANGUL, The Cosmic Philosophy · p.309 / 428
Hunminjeongeum must be re reconstructed in a modern
context. This is the reason the editor proposes “Hangul
Jeongeum” or a new Hangul Standard. Hangul Jeongeum is
not a mere restoration of the past, but an attempt to
reinterpret and carry forward the philosophy and structure
of Hunminjeongeum in accordance with the contemporary
linguistic environment.
Hangul Jeongeum transcends its function as a writing system
and possesses a distinctive structure intrinsically connected to
the principles of nature, acoustics, and geometric order. In
this respect, it is fundamentally distinct from existing writing
systems and carries profound philosophical significance that
extends beyond conventional frameworks of graphemics.
In conclusion, Hangul Jeongeum may be described as a truly
Universal Writing System for all humanity, which embodies
profound natural philosophy and encompasses the principles
and philosophy of the universe itself.
